SohoLab Has Its Own Home Now

The Controlled Spin-Off

For a while, homelab content lived here alongside everything else — tucked between IT commentary, career writing, and the occasional gaming detour. That was fine when it was occasional. It's not occasional anymore.

The homelab has grown into its own ongoing project, with its own rhythm and its own audience. Mixing rack diagrams and storage controller notes in with service desk rants and browser reviews wasn't doing either side any favours.

So I've split it out. SohoLab now lives at conram.it/soholab — a dedicated space for the home infrastructure project: the hardware, the software, the decisions, and the occasional detour that comes with running a lab at home for reasons that are only partly rational.

The back catalogue has moved with it. Everything that was homelab in nature is over there now. What stays here is what was always the core of conram.it: IT from a practitioner's perspective, with whatever else catches my attention.
